The sprawling shopping/residential complex owned by Biltmore Farms (and sometimes disparagingly referred to by some as “that fake city”) was granted permission by local authorities for an even larger sign acknowledging their existence to passing interstate traffic than the already monumental one that exists currently.

I wondered how that might affect any views for residents in that eye-line who were among those  speaking against a bigger sign, and thought about the large chunk of nearby formerly-pristine mountainside that now contains many newcomer houses and if they were a bit closer to the actual Biltmore Park site to come up with what is essentially just a visual joke, but also comments about whose idea of ruined views depends on which vantage point you are viewing from.
