Contingency Plan
Duke Energy’s coal ash spill from one of it’s plants in Eden, NC into the nearby Dan River was a cause for concern that something similar to happen to Duke’s Asheville plant which is just across the interstate from our own French Broad river. This “Sergio Aragones” style of telling the story with only pictures allows for how local officials may cope (or not) with such an accident.
