Generation App
Okay, I was going to just let this domain expire and accept the very real fact that no one is interested enough in this project to continue updating the site here (especially since 1and1.com have raised the price of domain renewal from the $5.99 they were charging to a nearly tripled $14.99!) (edit Edit: Here it is another seven years later in 2021, and the domain is still being renewed, but at only $12/year – including private registration! – with Google Domains!) but I found I could transfer it to another place for cheaper for a year and so I will go ahead and keep up this delusional practice of posting my weekly Mountain Xpress cartoons here, just for the sake of having an easy to get to online archive for myself if no one else.
Oh yeah, this cartoon is one of my non-local-specific cartoons that has nothing to do with the area, as is my mandate by the publisher. I’ve been doing a lot of these lately as local subjects are either too similar to other cartoons I’ve already done in the past seven years on similar themes, or would be too specific for the antsy editors and publishers to allow to print. Hopefully you (and by you, I mean the imaginary person who is not reading this) will find some humor in this generational/technology humorous situation. It’s in color, after all, that should count for something!
