The latest occurrence of this rally, put on by the GoTopless people on various cities around the nation each year, including Asheville, happened for the third time this year. For whatever reasons, turnout seemed diminished, in comparison to the inaugural event in 2011. Sometimes, the news reports shows just a few bare-breasted women surrounded by photo-happy men from all age, ethnic and economic groups. It’s almost inspiring to find such a galvanizing subject with the power to unite such disparate groups of men in a common goal. Even so, those numbers were also down from the first one. So, to insinuate such a circumstance into the future, here is a cartoon prognosticating the outcome of a future event, should statistics stay on such a gravity-challenged path.

EDIT: well, now it is 2018, and I was only off by three women.
